Aw, maaaan. We lost to Douchey McPukkashell?
Well, that was just awful. Aside from Robot Soriano and Soto's solo home runs, last evening's offensive performance was what is technically referred to as a crap sandwich. It got to the point where you'd assume the Cubs could get a base hit with men in scoring position just because of the law of averages. But no, the godforsaken game saw the Cubs go 0-7 with potential runs in place. That is awful.

All Japanese fear the fist of Derrek Lee.
It's a shame to waste yet another good start by Ryan Dempster. It wasn't legendary stuff, but it was a quality deep start on the road. And we fucked it up baaaad. Is there anything more depressing than all the offense coming from solo home runs? I don't remember winning a whole lot of games that way.

Offense. Almost all of it.
One last depressing fact? Ryan Dempster had two hits last night - more than Nady, Baker, Soriano, and (ugh) A-Ram. Good thing we switched hitting coaches.
