"This Is Embarrassing"

Even more shocking then the Cubs late collapse was that "Stuck on You 2" got green lit

Driving home from my sister's birthday dinner, after the Bulls classic win, we switched over to the Cubs game.  This was just in time to hear Ron Santo utter the phrase "this is embarrassing."  That pretty much sums it all up.  Cubbies lose a late-inning lead behind an outstanding effort from Marshall, and once again, the offense failed to deliver.  Cherry Poppin' Daddies have had more hits than the Cubs recently.  We currently have 5 non-pitchers batting under .200.  I will let that sink in.

Don't look behind you, you will only see a team that will let you down

And so it has been.  Cubs have lost 7 out of their past 9.  Yesterday's game marked the end of our "It's Only April" Series that we have proudly presented over the past 30 days.  As we move into May, we are looking forward to the "Told You So" feature, in which the Cubs start winning the games that they are supposed to.  It's the damn Marlins.  Let's let out some frustration.  Recap out.

just have to add that Z had an amazing pinch hit single and I think he was planning to steal 2nd.

MB & Fontenot with their back-to-back homers got me hoping again but then the bullpen came in & well...u know the rest.

What is the deal with Marmol? I mean since his time off he's lost the strike zone. Gregg looked better than he did last night and that's saying A LOT. Heilman was just as bad, if not worse than Marmol.

And don't EVEN get me started at Hill playing 3rd base. I mean even the Marlins announcers (yes i had to listen/watch their broadcast on MLB Extra Innings) said, "Does the name DeRo ring any bells?"

I still don't get that trade or the Wood trade and probably never will.
