Cubs On Worst Skid of Season!!!!

Denis Savard cites a combination of Freddie Mercury and the Cubs bullpen as the inspiration for this form

I listened to approximately 15 minutes of today's game.  The first chance I had to listen, the game was tied 4-4.  Next thing I know, Cards put up 2 runs and never looked back. Marshall's debut was marked with the same problems of the other starters: too many pitches too early, leading to short outings.  Marshall lasted only 5 innings, though threw 93 pitches (also of note: only 55 were strikes).  This of course led to the game being handed over to the bullpen.  Game.  Over.

Even a sweet robot couldn't save Bradley from being ejected

Today also marked the return of Guess Who? Milton Bradley.  He exploded like a Battleship caught in the Crossfire of a Crocodile Dentist.  In the game of Life, sometimes you get caught in a Mouse Trap and things go Kerplunk.  After he failed to Connect Four balls, he was no longer a Barrel of Monkeys and his patience went Splat!  Oh well, you can't achieve Perfection all the time, I just hope he doesn't need an Operation. (Thanks Wikipedia!)

The loss to Perkins School for the Blind was almost as embarrassing as losing to the Reds

2 loses in a row brings our record to 5-4, 2 behind the inexplicably 8-3 Cardinals.  Yes, the season has just begun, but keep in mind, this is our biggest competition in the division.  Anything worse than a split of this 4-game series will be very disappointing.

That being said, Hawks just tied it up 2-2 in the 3rd.  Beat those Canadians!

I don't know if I should be sickened or impressed by all the board game references.
